Step Ladder Records 4-Band Special (Modern Jazz, Funk & Fusion) - Recording, Mix & Master

I was tasked with recording sets played by four bands: Connor Lynn Quartet, Pink Familee, Plantfood, and Paltin.

I recorded multitracks on Logic Pro X through a USB connection from the Behringer X32 Compact mixing desk at The Old Abbey Taphouse.

I then divided these multitracks into their respective bands, exported each set of multitracks into a folder, and imported these into four different Pro Tools sessions where I mixed each band's performance on a Solid State Logic Duality Delta mixing console.

Each set was around 40 minutes, so mixing everything took me a few weeks. Once all four sets were mixed and mastered, I delivered them to Step Ladder Records who intended to use them for a radio broadcast but hasn't been able to yet.
